Job summary

De OpenShift / Kubernetes Engineer ontwikkelt en verbetert het containerplatform dat interne applicatieteams gebruiken. De rol omvat het bouwen en beheren van OpenShift-clusters, implementeren van nieuwe platformfunctionaliteit en oplossen van complexe technische problemen. Automatisering met GitOps, Argo CD, Ansible en Infrastructure as Code ondersteunt een betrouwbaar, gestandaardiseerd platform.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform and Kubernetes.
• Experience with GitOps and Argo CD.
• Experience with Ansible and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience building, configuring, managing, and troubleshooting complex platform environments.
• Ability to independently analyze complex technical problems and identify structural improvements.
• Preference for automation over manual work.
• Collaborative, pragmatic approach and willingness to share knowledge and provide critical feedback.
• OpenShift Virtualization experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Kargo, Prometheus, Grafana, CI/CD, and automated deployment processes is an advantage.
• Knowledge of networking, storage, and security concepts in Kubernetes and OpenShift is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Build, expand, and improve OpenShift clusters across projects.
• Implement new platform functionality and platforms, including associated applications.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot complex platform environments.
• Automate platform operations using GitOps, Argo CD, Ansible, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Improve platform reliability and resolve underlying problems.
• Document and share knowledge with colleagues.
