Job summary
Wipro UK is seeking a Release Engineer to manage technical cutover processes, ensuring business readiness and risk mitigation.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a technical release engineering environment
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills in English
- Understanding of modern application architectures
- Understanding of release sequencing and rollback complexity
- Understanding of Infrastructure as code
Responsibilities
- Define, author, and maintain the master Technical Cutover Runbook
- Plan and lead cutover dress rehearsals
- Ensure business readiness for the cutover
- Design rollback and contingency plans
- Facilitate Go/No-Go checkpoint meetings
