Job summary
The DevOps Technical Lead provides technical direction and mentorship while designing and operating hybrid Azure and on-premises infrastructure, including Kubernetes platforms. The role automates infrastructure with Terraform, improves CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Octopus Deploy, coordinates releases, resolves major incidents, and strengthens platform security, reliability, and observability. It also supports GPU and AI platforms, including MCP servers.

Qualifications
- At least 7 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, platform engineering, or cloud engineering.
- At least 2 years of technical leadership or mentorship experience.
- Experience designing, implementing, and supporting complex infrastructure through production deployment.
- Hands-on experience with Azure AKS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD tools.
- Scripting skills in Bash and Python or Go.
- Experience supporting production environments and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
- Knowledge of software delivery, release automation, package creation, and production deployment.
- Strong collaboration, communication, problem-solving, mentoring, and technical guidance skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership to DevOps engineers and coordinate priorities.
- Design, implement, and maintain hybrid Azure and on-premises infrastructure, including Kubernetes platforms.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and related tools.
- Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Octopus Deploy.
- Coordinate critical deployments and support release management.
- Resolve complex technical issues, support major incident management, and conduct root cause analyses.
- Improve platform reliability and observability and integrate security practices into infrastructure and operations.
- Review technical designs and code, share expertise, and mentor engineers.
- Improve infrastructure and operational capabilities for GPU and AI platforms, including MCP servers.
- Collaborate with development, quality assurance, security, and architecture teams.
