Qualifications

• Experience in bringing a real robot platform end-to-end.
• Strong understanding of hardware integration.
• Hands-on experience with multiple abstraction approaches.
• Practical experience with ROS 2.
• Experience with various robotic platforms.

Responsibilities

• Implement robot abstraction layer.
• Work with ROS 2 Launch Graph, ros2_control YAML, DDS QoS.
• Manage operational state machine.
• Select active controllers and ensure mode switching.
• Orchestrate power-on/off sequences.
• Classify errors and select recovery measures.
• Monitor robot-level health.
• Implement gRPC server for mode commands and state queries.
• Share responsibility for robot-control API.
• Conduct platform integration tests in simulation and on hardware.
