Job summary

The Sr. DevOPS/Cloud Engineer will support the Cancer Screening Project by designing and implementing secure serverless APIs and managing cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and managing complex cloud environments, especially AWS
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
• Experience with scalable serverless architectures and event-driven data flows
• Experience with Linux cloud environments and modern web technologies
• Knowledge of container-based technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience in deploying and securing APIs
• Strong understanding of agile delivery and CI/CD pipelines in AWS
• Experience with version control and build tools like Git and Jenkins
• Experience with development workflow tools like JIRA and Confluence
• Proficiency in automation and scripting languages like Python and Bash
• Experience with architectural and security best practices in cloud environments
• Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting strategies
• Experience with metrics for deployment and system performance
• Experience creating technical infrastructure specifications
• Experience coordinating test and production environments
• Experience leading cloud initiatives and mentoring team members
• Proven track record of meeting project deadlines
