Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architect to lead enterprise-scale customer engagement and data activation initiatives. The role involves driving architecture strategy, solution design, and integration frameworks across marketing and digital ecosystems, requiring strong technical skills and business acumen.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in the Salesforce ecosystem
• At least 4+ years in an Architect role
• Proven track record of delivering at least one full-scale Data Cloud implementation
• Strong background in data architecture, relational databases, and SQL
• Expert-level knowledge of AMPscript, SSJS, SQL, and the SFMC API suite
• Hands-on experience with Data Streams, Data Mapping, and Identity Resolution
• Deep understanding of MC Connect, API-based integrations, and middleware solutions
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end technical architecture for SFMC and Data Cloud
• Define data models and ETL processes
• Design complex integrations between Data Cloud, SFMC, Sales/Service Cloud, and external data lakes
• Architect solutions using Marketing Cloud Personalization and Data Cloud Actuations
• Monitor and optimize the performance of Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and DevOps pipelines
• Configure and optimize Identity Resolution rules within Data Cloud
• Establish best practices for business unit structure, data privacy, and security protocols
• Act as a subject matter expert for stakeholders
