Job summary
The SAP Application Development Architect at Lilly oversees the SAP platform's architecture and operations, ensuring compliance and stability in a GxP-regulated environment. This role involves automating processes, managing integrations, and leading validation efforts while collaborating with various teams and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in platform ownership, DevOps, or enterprise automation engineering
- 3+ years of experience in a GxP or otherwise regulated environment
- Demonstrated experience with Git-based version control and GitHub workflows
- Demonstrated experience with SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, or equivalent enterprise integration platforms
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC practices
Responsibilities
- Design, automate, and maintain SAP platform management tools
- Define and enforce SAP development standards and coding best practices
- Partner with infrastructure, Basis, and security teams
- Lead the delivery of integrations built on SAP Integration Suite
- Automate solution delivery processes within the SAP project and release process
- Lead GxP validation lifecycle for SAP platform changes
- Provide technical direction for contractor developers
