Security / AI Cloud Engineer

Job summary

Cyber74, a New Charter Technologies operating company, is seeking a Security / AI Cloud Engineer to launch a new practice focused on AI security. The role involves configuring and managing security controls across AI-enabled environments and conducting security assessments for client AI deployments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in cloud security, security engineering, or a related role
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 security tools or equivalent Google/AWS platforms
• Familiarity with AI platforms and their security surfaces
• Experience configuring DLP policies, CASB solutions, or similar data security controls
• Working knowledge of CSPM tools for identifying misconfigurations
• Understanding of zero-trust architecture principles
• Relevant certifications preferred
• Strong documentation and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage security controls for AI platforms and cloud environments
• Configure and tune Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies
• Develop and maintain alerting rules to detect abuse
• Identify, remediate, and track security misconfigurations
• Conduct security assessments of client AI deployments
• Collaborate with the vCISO and compliance teams
• Document findings, configurations, and procedures
• Monitor the evolving AI security landscape
• Support pre-sales and scoping conversations
