Job summary

Curinos is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to enhance security capabilities across cloud and hybrid environments. The role involves managing security operations, driving vulnerability management, and mentoring junior team members while collaborating with various teams to ensure secure practices.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in security operations or engineering
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services
• Experience in Linux systems administration
• Proficiency in Automation & Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Hands-on experience in various security areas
• Strong command of AWS cloud security principles
• Familiarity with observability and metrics tooling
• Experience with security frameworks (NIST 800-53, CIS Benchmarks, ISO 27001)
• Proficiency in Python and/or Bash
• Senior-level certification preferred
• Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance

Responsibilities

• Manage security operations and engineering activities in cloud and hybrid environments
• Monitor findings in AWS Security Hub and Amazon GuardDuty
• Manage cloud security posture using CNAPP platform
• Drive vulnerability management lifecycle
• Design application security controls in development pipelines
• Improve endpoint and network detection and response tooling
• Lead investigation and response for security incidents
• Define and report security posture metrics and KPIs
• Automate security operations using scripting and infrastructure-as-code
• Stay current with emerging threats and platform changes
• Consult on security matters with cross-functional teams
• Mentor junior team members on security issues
