Job summary

Seeking a hands-on Security & Infrastructure Engineer to secure platforms across on-premise VMware environments and hybrid cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity engineering.
• Expertise in VMware NSX and VMware vDefend.
• Experience designing and managing Palo Alto Networks firewalls.
• Experience with Cisco security/networking technologies.
• Experience securing Windows environments.
• Familiarity with CIS Benchmarks.
• Understanding of zero-trust principles and network segmentation.
• Experience with vulnerability management and incident response.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP networking fundamentals.
• Experience implementing DevSecOps principles.
• Hands-on experience with the Elastic Stack.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security controls across on-premise VMware infrastructure.
• Lead configuration and optimisation of VMware NSX and VMware vDefend.
• Manage and tune Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewalls.
• Support hardening of Windows Server environments and Microsoft technologies.
• Contribute to security monitoring using the Elastic Stack.
• Assist with security tasks across hybrid cloud environments.
• Apply CIS Benchmarks and support remediation activities.
• Drive security monitoring and incident response.
• Embed security into operational processes and support DevSecOps practices.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for compliance.
• Maintain documentation and contribute to security reporting.
