Job summary
Security & Infrastructure Engineer to secure critical platforms across on-premise VMware environments and hybrid cloud infrastructure. Role involves implementing security controls, supporting compliance, and collaborating in a high-security environment.
Qualifications
- 3-6 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity engineering
- Proven expertise in VMware NSX and VMware vDefend
- Strong experience designing and managing Palo Alto Networks firewalls
- Experience with Cisco security/networking technologies
- Extensive experience securing Windows environments
- Familiarity with CIS Benchmarks
- Good understanding of zero-trust principles
- Experience with vulnerability management and SIEM integration
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain security controls across on-premise VMware infrastructure
- Lead the configuration and optimisation of VMware NSX
- Help manage and tune Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewalls
- Support the hardening of Windows Server environments
- Contribute to security monitoring and visibility using the Elastic Stack
- Assist with security tasks across hybrid cloud environments
- Drive security monitoring, incident response, and root cause analysis
- Collaborate with vendors, auditors, and internal teams for compliance
