Job summary
Mot*** is seeking a Security Systems & ICT Infrastructure Engineer to design Security Systems and ICT Infrastructure within their Buildings division, delivering major projects across various sectors and maintaining strong client relationships.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in delivering projects within the built environment.
- Extensive experience in Security System and ICT infrastructure design.
- Ability to lead design and specification of CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Detection, and Integrated Security Management Systems.
- Experience securing Critical National Infrastructure and high-security sites.
- Experience leading structured design processes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and coordinate with disciplines.
- Experience delivering coordinated 3D design models.
- Track record in building services Security Systems and ICT engineering design using industry software.
- Excellent communication skills, including report writing and presentations.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Security Systems and ICT infrastructure design for major projects from concept to detailed design.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with architects and civil engineers.
- Understand client requirements and document appropriate solutions.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Support senior managers with commercial and contractual project aspects.
- Work autonomously within a team on building services projects.
- Prepare design documents including sketches, drawings, reports, schedules, and specifications.
- Engage in various project phases including feasibility, design, procurement, construction, testing, and handover.
- Review and coordinate designs with other disciplines.
- Inspect and test under construction or as-built systems.
- Stay updated on technical standards and identify training opportunities.
- Support the development of early career professionals.
