Job summary
The Senior Agentic Platform Engineer owns core components of a production AI agent platform, building the runtime and shared infrastructure for scalable, reliable agent development. The role covers agent execution, context management, event streaming, MCP integrations, security, observability, and cloud-native deployment standards. The platform uses Python, Go, GCP, GKE, Kubernetes, and agent frameworks including PydanticAI, LangGraph, and the OpenAI Agent SDK.

Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience building and maintaining production backend systems.
- Strong Python skills, including API development, asynchronous programming, testing, and clean architecture.
- Production experience developing LLM applications or AI agents.
- Understanding of event-driven architectures, microservices, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with LLMOps, observability, CI/CD, and production troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of AI security, authentication, access controls, and prompt-injection protection.
- Ability to lead technical decisions, mentor engineers, and work autonomously in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain the agent runtime, including execution, context management, and event streaming.
- Develop MCP tool servers, APIs, authentication services, and policy services for secure access to internal data and capabilities.
- Improve agent capabilities through multi-model routing, memory, durable execution, and LLM frameworks.
- Maintain platform stability and performance using monitoring, tracing, and evaluation tools.
- Define scalable APIs, service patterns, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native deployment standards.
- Implement security controls, prompt-injection protection, automated evaluations, and regression testing.
- Lead architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and collaborate with Data, ML, Platform, and Product teams.
