Senior AI Engineer, Platform Engineering

Job summary

ResMed is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy intelligent agent-based solutions that address business and engineering challenges.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Engineering.
• Experience building AI applications using frameworks like LangGraph or OpenAI Agents SDK.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript, Go, and/or Python.
• Experience designing and building microservice applications.
• Experience integrating APIs and enterprise systems.
• Hands-on experience building production AI applications using LLMs.
• Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and vector databases.
• Knowledge of tool calling and agent orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI agents and workflows using modern LLM frameworks.
• Develop AI applications leveraging Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and vector databases.
• Optimize retrieval quality and response accuracy.
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise platforms.
• Develop reusable connectors and tools for agent capabilities.
• Establish best practices for AI application governance.
• Monitor and optimize agent performance and troubleshoot production issues.
