Qualifications
- 5+ years of software, platform, or infrastructure engineering experience
- 3+ years of experience with API management platforms
- Experience designing and supporting RESTful APIs
- Strong understanding of API security concepts
- Experience with cloud-based platforms and CI/CD practices
- Experience supporting production environments and operational excellence
- Experience in Agile development environments
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain API proxies and reusable platform components using Apigee X
- Define and implement API governance and operational standards
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident management
- Lead API platform modernization and migration initiatives
- Support enterprise API gateway services and ensure high availability
- Drive continuous improvement through automation and self-service capabilities
- Collaborate with teams providing technical leadership and mentorship
