• Several years of experience in application management, DevOps, software development, or technical consulting
• Strong Java skills
• Experience with portal platforms like Liferay DXP or low-code platforms like Pega is a plus
• Solid knowledge of modern and classic Java runtime environments
• Understanding of modern cloud, infrastructure, and software architectures
• Practical experience with containerization, orchestration, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), security, observability, and performance analysis
• Proficient with modern version control, build, and CI/CD technologies
• ITIL knowledge, especially in incident, problem, and change management, is a plus
• German language skills at least at B2 level in spoken and written form

Responsibilities

• Maintain stable operation of various web and portal applications
• Resolve incidents and service requests from Java code to infrastructure
• Operate and optimize Java applications in various runtime environments
• Conduct deployments and troubleshooting
• Develop CI/CD pipelines, container images, and Helm charts
• Provision infrastructure as code
• Enhance observability and automation
• Advance cloud and software architectures
• Realize migrations to cloud environments
• Collaborate closely with the team and share knowledge
