Responsibilities
- Design and build an AWS GovCloud landing zone with networking, identity, guardrails, and logging aligned to FedRAMP High and CMMC Level 2 expectations.
- Establish version-controlled, repeatable, and auditable infrastructure-as-code standards using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
- Build secure shop-floor data ingestion, a CUI-tiered data lake, and downstream analytics architecture.
- Implement bastion or jump hosts, private connectivity, and least-privilege access patterns.
- Configure FIPS-validated encryption, KMS key management, immutable logging, and boundary controls.
- Own VPC design, Transit Gateway, and Direct Connect or VPN connectivity to on-premises sites.
- Automate infrastructure and deployments with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
- Maintain cloud monitoring, logging, observability, cost visibility, and optimization.
- Develop repeatable cloud integration patterns for acquired companies' data and systems.
