Job summary
Seeking a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and optimize cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring applications are highly available, scalable, secure, and cost-efficient.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field
- Minimum Six (6) years of prior relevant experience in IT infrastructure
- at least Five (5) years in cloud engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure automation
- Expertise in AWS core services
- Hands on experience with IaC
- Proven ability to work autonomously and collaborate
- strong development background in Python, Bash or similar
Responsibilities
- design, automate and optimize cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
- ensure applications are highly available, scalable, secure and cost-efficient
- develop and manage CI/CD pipelines
- support containerized workloads
- enable automated testing, artifact management, and blue/green or canary deployments
- implement observability, monitoring and logging solutions
- troubleshoot system performance, latency, reliability issues
- define and maintain SLAs, SLOs
- automate provisioning, scaling, monitoring, recovery processes
- ensure systems meet security, governance, and regulatory compliance requirements
- work closely with developers, architects, and QA to ensure smooth releases
