Senior AWS Engineer

Job summary

Design, build, and operate cloud-native applications and platform infrastructure on AWS, including serverless services and highly regulated, multi-tenant EKS/Kubernetes clusters. Develop React and TypeScript applications, REST and GraphQL APIs, and infrastructure as code, while supporting event-driven and microservices architectures, CI/CD, security, and troubleshooting across the technology stack.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, Cognito, and CloudWatch
• Experience designing, building, deploying, and operating AWS workloads
• Experience in highly regulated and secure environments
• Hands-on experience with production-grade EKS/Kubernetes clusters and multi-tenant Kubernetes architectures
• Experience implementing automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
• Experience with Helm charts for configuration and deployment
• Python and Bash scripting and automation experience
• Proficiency in TypeScript and hands-on React frontend development
• Experience developing and integrating REST and GraphQL APIs
• Understanding of microservices and event-driven architectures
• Experience with Test-Driven Development and testing frameworks
• Commitment to code quality, reliability, and maintainability
• Understanding of secure-by-design principles, DevSecOps, and security controls across cloud, containers, and CI/CD
• Ability to work in complex, distributed system environments
• Strong troubleshooting, collaboration, and communication skills
