Job summary
Design and support secure, reliable Azure infrastructure and platform services for a federal government environment, using Infrastructure as Code and automation to modernise critical cloud platforms. The role covers CI/CD pipeline delivery, Azure performance and cost optimisation, cloud governance and resilience, and complex platform troubleshooting. It also involves collaboration across technical teams and may include support for on-premises infrastructure and AWS environments.

Qualifications
- Hands-on experience designing, automating, and supporting enterprise Azure environments.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, scripting, and cloud automation.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of cloud security, governance, and operational resilience.
- Strong troubleshooting, collaboration, communication, and technical documentation skills.
- Active NV1 security clearance required before commencement.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Azure infrastructure and platform services using Infrastructure as Code.
- Develop automation using Azure Bicep, ARM templates, Terraform, PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Azure DevOps.
- Build and support CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and lifecycle management.
- Optimise Azure environments for performance, availability, scalability, security, and cost.
- Strengthen cloud governance, identity management, monitoring, backup, recovery, and resilience.
- Investigate platform issues and contribute to on-call support, incident response, and service restoration.
- Maintain technical documentation, solution designs, and operational procedures.
- Support on-premises infrastructure and AWS environments where required.
