Job summary
The Senior Azure Cloud Engineer will design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable cloud solutions to support the organization's strategic goals.
Qualifications
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation, particularly Terraform
- Experience with Platform Engineering patterns and AI-assisted development
- Experience with AKS, Azure Container Apps, and Function Apps
- Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and resilience patterns
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Deliver and operate secure, scalable Azure cloud infrastructure
- Improve Azure platform services and operational processes
- Own Infrastructure as Code patterns and deployment pipelines
- Support high availability and disaster recovery for critical systems
- Act as a technical escalation point during incidents
- Implement security controls aligned with best practices
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, data, networking, and application teams
- Support cloud migrations and new service delivery
- Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering standards
- Support digital and virtual-care transformation goals
