Job summary
This DevOps role leads the design and operation of Azure infrastructure and shared platform services for a customer team during a cloud-focused transformation. The work includes shaping cloud architecture, maintaining and building Azure environments, and improving reliability, security, monitoring, automation, and CI/CD delivery with development and QA teams. The technology stack includes Azure Landing Zones, Front Door, App Service, Azure SQL Database, AKS, Bicep, Terraform, PowerShell, and Azure DevOps.

Qualifications
- At least five years of hands-on experience in Azure DevOps, cloud, or platform engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure, including Landing Zones, Front Door, Storage, App Service, and Azure SQL Database.
- Experience with or willingness to work with Azure Container Apps, AKS, and Azure Functions.
- Strong infrastructure-as-code experience with Bicep or Terraform.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, YAML workflows, and Azure DevOps.
- Experience with GitHub Flow or GitHub Actions, or willingness to adopt them.
- Experience with containerization and Kubernetes deployments in Azure.
- Understanding of Azure security, identity and access management, and Entra ID.
- Understanding of security, compliance, and governance standards, including SOC 2 Type 2.
- Upper-intermediate English or higher.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain Azure infrastructure and shared platform services.
- Align cloud architecture with customers and drive architecture decisions with solution architects and stakeholders.
- Maintain existing Azure environments and build new infrastructure.
- Apply DevOps practices for scalability, reliability, security, and automation.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines, workflows, and automation.
- Improve monitoring, alerting, and operational visibility.
- Collaborate with development teams to support stable and efficient delivery.
- Participate in team stand-ups and technical discussions as a DevOps lead.
- Work with QA teams to integrate functional and automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Continuously improve DevOps practices and adapt to changes in technologies and processes.
