Senior Azure Infrastructure Automation Engineer

Job summary

The Senior Azure Infrastructure Automation Engineer is tasked with designing, implementing, and optimizing automated Azure infrastructure and Windows endpoint solutions. This role involves leading Azure VM Engineering, developing infrastructure automation solutions using Ansible and PowerShell, and conducting security assessments with tools like Microsoft Defender and Tanium to ensure secure and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with Azure infrastructure engineering
• Expert-level experience in Azure VM Engineering and Azure Image Engineering
• Experience building and supporting automated image pipelines
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Ansible, PowerShell, PSADT, Jinja2, and YAML
• Strong experience building and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Proven experience supporting Windows 10/11 engineering
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability management and security scans
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft 365 Apps

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated Windows image deployment pipelines
• Lead Azure VM Engineering and Azure Image Engineering activities
• Engineer and support enterprise Windows 10/11 environments
• Develop and maintain infrastructure automation solutions
• Administer and optimize Azure infrastructure components
• Build and support GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Conduct security scans, vulnerability assessments, image hardening, patch management, and remediation activities
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, Registry Management, Microsoft 365 applications
• Monitor platform health, availability, and performance
• Support large-scale Windows 11 migration projects
