Job summary
The Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer will manage and maintain Linux infrastructures and design Azure Cloud computing architecture, collaborating with IT teams to implement new technologies and improve existing infrastructure.
Qualifications
- 8+ years as a Platform Engineer managing complex projects
- Knowledge of infrastructure technologies, virtualized environments, and cloud architecture
- Experience with Azure Cloud Infrastructure and native services
- Programming experience, preferably with bash scripting
- Experience with IaC, Terraform, ADO, GitHub
- Experience with Puppet Config Management
- VMWARE administration experience
- Ability to develop solutions for complex IT problems
- Stay updated on technologies and market trends
- Familiarity with cloud-native architectures
- Experience with hybrid environments
- Strong Linux and networking expertise
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Linux infrastructure
- Research and implement new technologies
- Design and maintain Azure Cloud architecture
- Deploy and fine-tune server and networking infrastructure
- Perform disaster recovery, patching, backup, and business continuity operations
- Set up and support configuration management tools
- Monitor servers and services
- Understand technological needs and propose solutions
- Document processes for IT Operations
- Develop best practices and improve infrastructure design
