Job summary
The Senior Azure Platform Engineer will play a key role in transforming the technology estate towards a cloud-native model, focusing on Microsoft Azure and related technologies.
Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric
- Experience with Azure Databricks
- Experience with Azure Synapse
- Experience with Data Lake technologies
- Experience with Data pipelines and orchestration
- Experience with Notebooks
- Experience with Medallion/lakehouse architecture
- Experience with Data-platform security and identity
- Experience with deployment and environment-management patterns
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, maintain and improve services across the Azure estate
- Provide engineering resilience for Microsoft Fabric
- Move towards automated infrastructure management
- Ensure Azure platforms are secured and governed
- Take ownership of projects and workstreams
- Act as a senior escalation point for platform issues
