Job summary

As a Senior Backend / DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with the CTO to build and evolve a fintech product, focusing on backend features and cloud infrastructure within a microservices architecture.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in a strongly-typed, compiled or strictly-typed language
• Deep experience designing and implementing event-driven systems
• Proven track record in building, deploying, and scaling microservice-based systems
• Real production experience with GCP

Responsibilities

• Develop backend features and APIs within microservices architecture
• Design and implement event-driven patterns and workflow orchestration
• Work with PostgreSQL for schema design, migrations, and query optimization
• Integrate with external APIs for mortgage platforms, CRM, and document processing
• Extend cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Helm
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability systems
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability
• Collaborate on technical decisions and architecture evolution
• Ensure code quality, security, and operational best practices
