Job summary

As a Senior Backend / DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with the CTO to enhance the fintech product by developing backend features and managing cloud infrastructure, with significant autonomy in shaping deployment and scaling processes.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in a strongly-typed, compiled or strictly-typed language
• Experience designing and implementing event-driven systems
• Track record building, deploying, and scaling microservice-based systems
• Production experience with GCP

Responsibilities

• Develop backend features and APIs within microservices architecture
• Design and implement event-driven patterns and workflow orchestration
• Work with PostgreSQL for schema design, migrations, and query optimization
• Integrate with external APIs for mortgage platforms and document processing
• Extend cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Helm
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability systems
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability
• Collaborate on technical decisions and architecture evolution
• Ensure code quality, security, and operational best practices
