Job summary

A multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking a Senior Civil / Infrastructure Engineer to join its Cambridge team. The role involves supporting the delivery of highways and drainage infrastructure packages across various schemes, with strong involvement in project coordination, detailed design, and stakeholder engagement. This position offers broader technical and project exposure within a collaborative consultancy environment.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of UK consultancy experience in highways, drainage, infrastructure, or active travel projects
• Experience delivering public realm or multidisciplinary civils schemes
• Strong technical capability in SuDS, highways, and drainage design
• Familiarity with S278 / S106 delivery
• Experience using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, or InfoDrainage

Responsibilities

• Design highways and drainage infrastructure
• Develop SuDS strategies and flood mitigation works
• Deliver active travel and public realm schemes
• Manage S278 / S106 infrastructure packages
• Coordinate detailed design across multidisciplinary projects
• Liaise with stakeholders and clients throughout project delivery
• Provide technical delivery support using Civil 3D and drainage software
