Senior Cloud and DevOps Engineer

Job summary

As a Senior Cloud and DevOps Engineer, you will build and maintain the AWS-hosted infrastructure that supports connected products and SaaS applications. This hands-on role involves automating deployments, improving system reliability, and collaborating with software engineers and product teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a senior DevOps or Cloud Engineer role
• Experience supporting AWS infrastructure and containerized applications
• Strong experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tools
• Experience with Docker, Amazon ECS, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell
• Experience with monitoring and observability platforms
• Strong Linux and Windows administration experience
• Excellent troubleshooting and collaboration skills
• Experience in Agile development environments

Responsibilities

• Manage and support AWS cloud infrastructure and ECS-based containerized environments
• Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Monitor system health, performance, availability, and security
• Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions
• Support CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with software engineering teams
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability, performance, reliability, and cost
• Participate in the on-call rotation and perform root cause analysis
