Job summary

As a (Senior) Cloud Architect, you actively design and develop AWS cloud architecture and sustainable cloud solutions. You take responsibility for projects, support departments in implementing new applications, and optimize cloud governance.

Qualifications

• Completed training as an IT specialist or a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field
• Strong enthusiasm for IT topics and cloud architectures with a desire to contribute ideas in a new environment
• Knowledge of Amazon AWS (architecture, governance, services)
• Experience with complex hybrid IT infrastructures in an enterprise environment, preferably related to Microsoft Azure
• Experience with SAP in AWS and AWS certifications are a plus but not required
• Experience in managing service providers
• Fluent in German and good English skills in spoken and written form

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize AWS cloud architecture considering scalability, security, governance, and cost-effectiveness
• Evaluate architecture and solution concepts for new and existing IT systems and derive sustainable cloud solutions
• Support departments in implementing new applications ensuring compliance with cloud standards and best practices
• Continuously develop cloud governance and establish standards, processes, and architectural principles
• Take responsibility for projects and manage internal and external service providers
• Analyze and resolve complex issues in the AWS environment in third-level support
• Support the expansion of the hybrid cloud landscape and contribute to the development of the Azure environment
