The Senior Cloud Architect/Cloud Engineer role focuses on developing enterprise-level cloud platform architectures for MS Azure and M365, ensuring compliance with government standards. Responsibilities include providing technical guidance, conducting impact analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver effective cloud-based solutions that meet stakeholder needs.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in cloud-based solution implementation
• 5+ years implementing and managing cloud systems and technologies
• Track record of technical leadership across projects
• Experience and understanding of cloud-based technologies and architectures
• Experience in application and integration or infrastructure platform architecture
• 3+ years designing and documenting architectures for large enterprise systems
• Experience with AWS and/or GCP is desirable

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise level cloud platform architectures for MS Azure and M365
• Develop high level solution architectures for cloud-based systems
• Develop detailed architecture guidance for cloud engineers
• Provide impact analysis of user/stakeholder requirements
• Ensure adherence to whole-of-government standards
• Provide technical guidance for cloud-based systems
• Liaise with cross-functional teams
• Liaise with the Service Experience team
• Liaise with ICT Engagement and Enterprise Architecture
• Provide expertise in platform automation
• Promote enterprise architecture principles for cloud platforms
• Ensure solutions align with the DTA's Digital Service Standard
• Be strategic and influential
• Undertake additional duties as required
