Senior Cloud Architect, Delivery (GenAI)

Job summary

The Senior Cloud Architect at DoiT will lead the design and implementation of production-grade ML and Generative AI solutions on AWS, acting as a trusted advisor for customers. This role focuses on improving product adoption, customer health, and optimizing cloud architectures for security, reliability, and cost-efficiency.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience architecting, deploying, and managing cloud-based AI/ML solutions.
• Proven track record designing and operating large, distributed systems on AWS.
• Advanced proficiency with AWS services relevant to AI/ML and GenAI.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock for deploying and scaling Generative AI workloads.
• Experience fine-tuning and deploying Large Language Models using Amazon SageMaker.
• Strong prompt engineering skills and familiarity with model evaluation.
• In-depth knowledge of Amazon SageMaker components.
• Proficiency integrating TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other ML frameworks with SageMaker.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD for AI/ML using AWS CodePipeline.
• Excellent communication skills across technical and business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of production-grade ML and Generative AI solutions on AWS.
• Act as a hands-on expert and trusted advisor for customers running AI/ML workloads at scale.
• Translate complex business problems into secure, reliable, cost-efficient cloud architectures.
• Help evolve DoiT's use of AI/ML internally and with customers.
• Be the trusted Cloud SME for high-impact technical optimization work.
• Design and implement solutions to improve cost efficiency, reliability, security, and reduce operational toil.
• Plan and deliver structured engagements like Cloud Optimization Sessions.
• Respond to Expert Inquiry/support requests requiring deep cloud engineering expertise.
• Turn one-off field work into reusable assets for customer outcomes and product improvement.
• Provide structured feedback to DoiT Product and Engineering teams.
• Contribute directly to DCI where appropriate.
• Operate as an embedded technical partner within the account team.
• Communicate complex technical topics clearly to engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
