Job summary

JLL is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect & DevOps Manager to lead the design of cloud solutions and drive deployment automation within their data organization. This role involves architecting enterprise-grade cloud solutions, establishing engineering excellence standards, and mentoring a team of DevOps engineers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Cloud Architecture, DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure Engineering
• 3+ years of people management experience
• Experience designing end-to-end enterprise cloud solutions
• Hands-on experience defining and implementing disaster recovery strategy
• Deep hands-on CI/CD expertise
• Strong hands-on ArgoCD/GitOps experience
• Broad Azure and AWS experience
• Proven Kubernetes experience
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end network segmentation
• Strong IaC experience
• Solid grasp of cloud security and IAM
• Strong cross-functional communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solutions for enterprise needs across compute, networking, identity, storage, data, and messaging services
• Drive cloud architecture decisions across Azure and AWS, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and cost-optimized
• Define and own disaster recovery strategy, including RTO/RPO targets, failover design, backup and restore processes, and DR testing
• Architect and automate deployment solutions across cloud services, including AKS, serverless, API Management, data services, messaging/streaming, and storage
• Standardize CI/CD best practices, including pipeline design, branching strategy, automated testing, release gating, and rollback
• Lead infrastructure automation strategy using IaC across Azure and AWS
• Support troubleshooting of networking issues across cloud and on-prem
• Establish observability standards across services and connectivity layers
• Lead incident response and post-mortems for infrastructure and deployment issues
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of DevOps/platform engineers
