Job summary
The Senior Cloud Architect designs and supports enterprise customers’ adoption and transformation of IT environments using T-Cloud Public, from discovery and architecture definition through implementation and transition to operations. The role covers secure, scalable cloud architectures, landing zones, hybrid cloud, migrations, and modernization, while advising customers and delivery teams on OpenStack-based environments, Kubernetes, Terraform, automation, CI/CD, security, resilience, and governance.

Qualifications
- Several years of experience as a Cloud Architect, Solution Architect, or Senior Cloud Engineer
- Experience designing and delivering enterprise cloud solutions, including IaaS and PaaS
- Strong knowledge of cloud compute, networking, storage, identity and access management, security, high availability, backup and disaster recovery, monitoring, observability, and governance
- Understanding of OpenStack-based cloud environments
- Knowledge of cloud networking, including virtual networks, subnets, routing, load balancing, VPNs, and private and hybrid connectivity
- Experience with containers, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, automation, and CI/CD
- Experience designing highly available, resilient, and scalable cloud architectures
- Understanding of cloud security architecture, IAM, encryption, security policies, and network security
- Ability to produce clear architecture documentation and translate complex requirements into practical solutions
- Strong customer-facing, consulting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead customer technical discussions, challenge requirements, and work across distributed international teams
- Fluent English and Spanish
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end T-Cloud Public architectures covering compute, networking, storage, security, identity, resilience, observability, and governance
- Translate customer business and technical requirements into secure, scalable, production-ready architectures
- Lead customer workshops, discovery sessions, and architecture discussions
- Define reference architectures, patterns, and reusable solutions
- Design and support cloud landing zones, cloud foundations, and hybrid cloud architectures
- Define migration and modernization approaches for workloads moving to T-Cloud Public
- Support assessments, proofs of concept, pilots, and technical validation
- Contribute to technical proposals, RFPs, RFIs, and solution designs
- Guide cloud engineering and delivery teams through implementation and transition to operations
- Apply Infrastructure as Code, automation, and CI/CD principles to cloud solution design and delivery
- Advise customers on security, compliance, resilience, data sovereignty, and cloud governance
- Identify and communicate technical risks, dependencies, and architecture trade-offs
- Collaborate with international cloud teams and mentor architects and engineers
