Job summary
Analyze complex customer infrastructures and translate requirements into cloud-based disaster recovery concepts, from inventory to architectural decisions and implementation. This includes designing and implementing emergency architectures, validating and testing environments, and creating recovery plans. Support presales activities by explaining and positioning technical solutions. Identify needs for special treatment in customer environments and develop pragmatic solutions. Share knowledge within the team and contribute to the development of technical delivery standards.

Qualifications
- Solid hands-on experience with the Microsoft-Stack (Entra ID, Intune, M365, Azure) in conception and implementation.
- Deep understanding of hybrid infrastructures: Active Directory, network topology, connectivity via Azure VPN, ExpressRoute or Entra Connect, and the ability to determine which workloads are replicable, cloud-switchable, or need to be rebuilt in an emergency environment.
- Knowledge of STACKIT or Google Workspace / Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
- Solid security understanding in an infrastructure context: network segmentation, identity and access management, secure configuration of cloud resources, data protection in DR operations, and Zero-Trust principles.
- Experience in the complete DR-lifecycle: conception, technical implementation, validation, testing, and ongoing maintenance of emergency environments.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex customer infrastructures and translate requirements, restrictions, and operating models into cloud-based disaster recovery concepts, from inventory to architectural decisions and implementation, independently and with the customer.
- Review customer processes, IT resources, and dependencies, design appropriate emergency architectures (active/standby, classic DR, or greenfield rebuild), and implement them technically.
- Validate, test, and maintain the operational readiness of the environment.
- Write the recovery plan in collaboration with the BCM team.
- Actively support presales by explaining, positioning, and representing technical solutions with sales to the customer.
- Identify early where customer environments require special treatment and develop pragmatic solutions instead of ideal architectures.
- Share knowledge within the team, assist colleagues with complex customer situations, and contribute to the development of technical delivery standards.
