Job summary

As a Senior Cloud Architect, you will design and develop modern cloud architectures in AWS and Azure environments, collaborating with various teams to implement robust cloud solutions. The role requires extensive experience in cloud technologies and a strong understanding of design patterns and CI/CD processes.

Qualifications

• Several years of relevant experience in cloud environments
• Proficient in cloud architectures and cloud-native technologies
• Solid knowledge of AWS/Azure or alternative European providers
• Understanding of design patterns
• Strong experience in Linux-based environments
• Experience with Kubernetes and container-based platforms
• Good knowledge of CI/CD and automation of technical delivery processes
• Practical experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab, and modern build workflows
• Ability to design stable, scalable, and secure cloud solutions
• Structured, analytical, and responsible work approach
• Strong communication skills with technical teams and stakeholders
• Fluent in German (C2) and at least C1 in English

Responsibilities

• Design and develop modern cloud architectures in AWS and Azure environments
• Develop scalable, secure, and economical cloud platforms
• Implement cloud-native solutions using modern platform and container technologies
• Architect solutions in Linux, Kubernetes, and containerized workloads
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery
• Enhance automation in infrastructure, deployment, and operational processes
• Utilize GitHub Actions, GitLab, and similar toolchains in delivery
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams
• Define and establish architecture principles, standards, and best practices
• Evaluate new technologies and derive architectural decisions
