Job summary

The Senior Cloud Engineer at ASML is responsible for designing, building, and optimizing cloud-native applications and infrastructure, primarily using Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Qualifications

• 5+ years supporting large-scale software or cloud environments.
• Expertise with Google Cloud Platform services.
• Experience with Azure and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Strong background in Linux, Networking, CI/CD tools, and version control.
• Scripting expertise in Python, Bash, Perl, Ruby.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum or SAFe methodologies.
• Experience supporting AI/ML workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and maintain GCP-based platforms with AI/ML services and data pipelines.
• Build and support cloud-native applications including installation and performance tuning.
• Implement monitoring and logging using tools like Splunk and GCP services.
• Troubleshoot complex distributed systems with diagnostic tools.
• Serve as escalation for cloud and platform issues.
• Drive CI/CD automation and cloud release management.
• Propose improvements to system performance and cloud cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with IT standards and security policies.
• Support engineering use cases by provisioning environments and automating workflows.
