Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS)

Job summary

Leads architecture and engineering for AWS environments supporting a cloud landing zone and migration initiatives. The role includes designing and deploying infrastructure, integrating systems, implementing security and governance, automating operations, planning migrations, and providing operational support. It also provides technical leadership for cloud modernization and advises government stakeholders on AWS best practices and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, or a related field.
• AWS Solutions Architect Professional or AWS Advanced Networking Specialty certification.
• At least 10 years supporting enterprise infrastructure environments.
• At least 5 years supporting AWS cloud technologies.
• Experience with cloud migration, automation, security, and governance.
• Demonstrated experience leading cloud modernization initiatives.
