Job summary

The Senior Azure Cloud Engineer designs, implements, and optimizes complex Microsoft Azure environments, translating customer requirements into secure, scalable, and reliable cloud architectures. The role includes automating infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code, improving CI/CD and deployment processes, resolving complex incidents, and shaping Azure services. The engineer also mentors less experienced colleagues and applies Azure IAM, the Azure Well-Architected Framework, and the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of Microsoft Azure experience, preferably in a service-provider environment
• Relevant Microsoft certifications, including AZ-104 and AZ-305
• Extensive knowledge of the Azure Well-Architected Framework and Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, Azure Identity and Access Management, and CI/CD
• Experience designing and implementing secure, scalable cloud architectures
• Ability to independently analyze and resolve complex technical problems
• Good communication skills and willingness to mentor less experienced engineers
• HBO-level education in IT or a related technical field, or equivalent
