Job summary
The Senior Cloud Engineer role focuses on designing and implementing cloud solutions within a Global Data Platform team to enhance data-driven decision-making. Key responsibilities include developing infrastructure-as-code templates with Terraform, managing CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create automated solutions on Google Cloud Platform, ensuring high availability and security of the data platform.
Qualifications
- 5 years proven, hands-on DevOps engineer experience
- 2 years of experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- demonstrable Terraform IaC experience
- experience using AI tools in managing Cloud resources
- experience working on a collaborative Agile product team
Responsibilities
- consult and work with Data Platform team
- build well-architected, automated solutions
- develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) templates
- architect and maintain Cloud Platform configurations
- design and implement platform PKI and Observability dashboards
- stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies
- mentor and coach other DevOps and Cloud Engineers
