Job summary

The Senior Cloud Engineer at Janus Henderson Investors is responsible for building, automating, and operating Azure cloud platforms, focusing on Terraform-led infrastructure and Azure platform engineering.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on cloud engineering experience with Microsoft Azure
• Strong Terraform experience in module design and governance
• Deep knowledge of core Azure services
• Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service
• Experience supporting BAU operations and incident management
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of cloud security and governance best practices
• Experience in enterprise-scale environments

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and manage Azure infrastructure services
• Support deployment of enterprise landing zones and workload environments
• Implement cloud solutions aligned with architecture patterns
• Develop and maintain Terraform modules and reusable infrastructure components
• Deliver infrastructure provisioning via CI/CD pipelines
• Manage drift detection and environment consistency
• Deploy, configure, and support AKS clusters
• Support AVS environments and workload migrations
• Implement and manage Azure Arc-enabled servers
• Configure and manage VNets and NSGs
• Support Microsoft Entra ID configurations
• Support business-as-usual cloud operations
• Monitor cloud services and investigate incidents
• Collaborate with Cloud COE team and other engineering teams
