Job summary
The Senior Cloud Engineer builds and supports reliable, scalable infrastructure for a global platform serving more than 300 million fans. The role designs high-availability routing across on-premise datacenters, AWS, and GCP; automates Kubernetes and Cloudflare infrastructure with Terraform and Chef; and operates production MySQL replication, failover, and disaster recovery. It also improves CI/CD, monitoring, security, and incident response in partnership with engineering teams.

Qualifications
- At least five years in Technical Operations, Network Operations, DevOps, or SRE roles managing large-scale production platforms.
- Proficiency in Linux administration, TCP/IP networking, routing, secure systems practices, and Go, Python, or Bash.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring or reliability systems.
- Experience operating production MySQL databases, including replication, failover, and performance tuning.
- Ability to use generative AI tools and critically verify their outputs for accuracy, security, and context.
Responsibilities
- Design and scale highly available routing across on-premise datacenters, AWS, and GCP.
- Automate cloud and edge infrastructure as code with Terraform and Chef.
- Maintain Kubernetes, Cloudflare services, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Operate production MySQL replication, failover, disaster recovery, and monitoring.
- Build tools for operational automation, backups, performance tuning, and security monitoring.
- Lead planning meetings, retrospectives, and root cause analyses.
- Participate in on-call incident response and collaborate with and mentor cross-functional engineering teams.
