Job summary

DKV Mobility is seeking a Cloud Engineer to build and operate modern cloud services using container, PaaS, and SaaS technologies. The role involves working with Azure Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, Kafka, and other cloud-native tools, integrating new technologies, and ensuring stable operation of the cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a background in IT, solid experience in Cloud Engineering, and relevant certifications.

• Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or comparable technical qualification
• Solid experience in Cloud Engineering, especially with Kafka and Kubernetes
• Relevant certifications in cloud technologies or cloud architecture are ideal
• Communicate clearly, structured, and proactively in technical exchanges and cross-team coordination
• Explain complex technical topics understandably, promote active knowledge exchange, and support others with an open, cooperative manner
• Very good English skills; German is an advantage but not decisive

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate modern cloud services based on containers, PaaS, and SaaS technologies
• Work daily with Azure Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, Kafka, Grafana-Stack, Instana, ArgoCD, and cloud-native Postgres databases
• Integrate new technologies into the DKV cloud landscape and ensure their smooth functionality
• Develop additional software and integration components using agile methods and create precise technical requirements
• Ensure stable, scalable, and secure operation of the cloud infrastructure, including monitoring and recovery in case of failure
• Support and train development teams, optimize existing solutions, and continuously evaluate new technologies
