Job summary

Lei*** is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to lead the design and implementation of AWS system architectures, ensuring operational status and security of government systems.

Qualifications

• Maintain TS/SCI Security Clearance with ability to obtain Poly CI
• BS degree and 15+ years’ experience in distributed solutions
• Experience in System Engineering documentation creation
• Familiarity with team collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, RocketChat)
• Experience in AWS/Cloud technologies and integration
• Experience in Grafana
• Expertise in AWS cloud technologies
• Understanding of code baseline management
• Proactive self-starter with positive attitude
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of AWS system architectures
• Review and provide input to system requirements based on cyber security posture
• Compile industry best practices into future designs
• Direct project planning and communication with stakeholders
• Provide architectural analysis of cloud systems and configurations
• Support Engineering Review Board for architectural compliance
• Create systems architecture and implementation documentation
• Apply systems engineering lifecycle experience to AWS initiatives
• Resolve architecture implementation issues during integration
• Provide support for system outages and ticket resolution
• Assist teams in deploying and configuring services
• Move data to appropriate data stores and monitor metrics
• Validate and manage government systems changes
