Senior Cloud Engineer

Job summary

Seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and support of secure and scalable cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience within a mission-critical, enterprise environment, ideally within financial services
• Proven experience leading complex infrastructure projects and technical initiatives
• Microsoft Azure (IaaS, Networking, Security, Governance)
• AWS cloud platform exposure
• Infrastructure architecture and documentation practices
• ITIL-aligned incident, change and problem management

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support enterprise cloud infrastructure solutions across Azure and AWS environments
• Lead cloud infrastructure projects aligned with the technology roadmap
• Evaluate, recommend and manage cloud technologies that meet business requirements
• Support mission-critical production environments, ensuring high availability and resilience
• Act as an escalation point for complex infrastructure incidents and major severity issues
• Deliver front-line support for Azure networking and cloud-based services
• Provide technical leadership across infrastructure initiatives and project delivery
• Collaborate with business leaders, project teams and technology partners to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Support Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity Planning and audit activities
