Senior Cloud Engineer - Open Source (m/w/d)

Job summary

Develop and operate modern Kubernetes-based platforms and infrastructures, focusing on cloud-native solutions using open-source technologies.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in Cloud Native, Kubernetes, or Software Engineering
• Familiar with Kubernetes and modern cloud-native technologies
• Proficient in Golang, Python, or a comparable language
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of Linux systems and basic networking and infrastructure topics
• Familiar with tools like Git, OpenTofu, Vault, or similar solutions
• Ideally experienced with Kubernetes Operators
• Very good German and good English skills in spoken and written form

Responsibilities

• Develop and operate modern Kubernetes-based platforms and infrastructures
• Build and enhance cloud-native solutions based on open-source technologies
• Develop solutions for secure transport of software artifacts in complex environments
• Contribute to the development of Kubernetes Operators and process automation
• Analyze technical requirements and derive sustainable solutions
• Create policies and technical documentation
