Job summary

Designs, builds, and operates secure Azure cloud platforms supporting data, machine learning, and generative AI workloads for U.S. healthcare products. The role delivers Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, observability, production support, security, and resilience, partnering with engineering, data science, security, and product teams to maintain reliable, scalable, and compliant services.

• Hands-on experience designing, building, and supporting enterprise cloud infrastructure, including Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or similar.
• Understanding of CI/CD, version control, automated testing, and production release cycles.
• Experience administering and troubleshooting Linux systems in enterprise or service-provider environments.
• Knowledge of cloud networking, including virtual networks, routing, DNS, load balancing, firewalls, and private connectivity.
• Understanding of cloud security, identity and access management, secrets management, and sensitive-data protection.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate secure, scalable Azure infrastructure for data, machine learning, and generative AI workloads.
• Develop reusable Infrastructure as Code templates and automation.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure, application services, and AI-enabled workloads.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability practices.
• Partner with engineering, data science, security, and product teams to deliver compliant operational solutions.
• Support production systems through incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Apply cloud security, identity, networking, and data protection practices.
• Optimize cloud cost, performance, and scalability.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and platform standards.
• Contribute to disaster recovery, business continuity, and resilience planning.
