Job summary

Senior Cloud Engineer responsible for building, operating, and developing modern platforms in Kubernetes, Linux, automation, and AI infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience as Platform Engineer, System Engineer, or similar role
• Experience in building and operating platforms in MSP or enterprise environments
• Strong Linux knowledge and experience with container and platform technologies
• Experience with Nutanix, VMware, Azure, Linux, Docker, GitOps, Terraform, Ansible, monitoring, logging, automation, and scripting
• Experience in planning, standardizing, and operating technical platforms across multiple clients
• Interest or experience in AI infrastructure, GPU workloads, or modern platform architectures
• Ability to work independently and structured with a holistic view
• Critical thinking and commitment to building clean, standardized, and maintainable solutions
• Active knowledge sharing and support for other engineers
• Strong communication skills in German and English

Responsibilities

• Build, operate, and develop modern platform environments in MSP context
• Develop and standardize platforms for containers, Linux workloads, and AI applications
• Plan, build, and operate Kubernetes platforms in hybrid environments
• Establish and operate standardized platform services for multiple clients
• Contribute to platforms based on Nutanix, VMware, Linux, and Azure
• Develop technical standards, blueprints, and operational models
• Design and implement AI infrastructure and GPU-based workloads
• Automate infrastructure and operational processes using Infrastructure as Code
• Develop and maintain deployments, patch processes, monitoring, logging, and observability
• Analyze and resolve complex issues and performance problems
• Ensure smooth transition of new platforms and services into operation
• Collaborate on multi-tenant, security, and standardization concepts
• Provide technical support for projects from conception to handover
• Support and coach other engineers within the team
• Work closely with project teams, operations, architecture, and clients
