Job summary

Seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and improve enterprise cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, focusing on operational leadership and cloud security.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance
• 10+ years of total experience
• 8+ years in cloud engineering or related disciplines
• 5+ years supporting major cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Experience with core cloud services including networking and security
• Understanding of cloud operations in regulated environments
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools
• Experience with DevSecOps tooling and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in Agile development environments
• Strong analytical and operational optimization skills
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities
• Effective communication skills for technical concepts
• Ability to manage operational incidents and shifting priorities
• Experience with scripting and automation using various languages

Responsibilities

• Manage operational support activities including incident, problem, change, and request management aligned with ITIL best practices
• Support service desk operations and escalation management adhering to SLA requirements
• Implement opportunities for operational automation and process improvement
• Advise on cloud-native and AI-enabled services for scalability and security
• Contribute to technical standards and continuous improvement initiatives
• Mentor junior engineers and reinforce engineering best practices
• Present technical updates and support cross-training initiatives
• Engineer and deploy cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Support cloud operations including monitoring, patching, and incident response
• Automate provisioning and deployment processes using DevSecOps tooling
• Implement cloud security controls aligned with NIST and enterprise policies
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues
• Collaborate with DevSecOps engineers and cybersecurity stakeholders
