Job summary
Design and operate highly available cloud infrastructure supporting digital health applications and clinical services. Responsibilities include deploying Google Cloud Platform services, maintaining Linux and Windows systems and Kubernetes-based applications, administering PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or CloudSQL databases, and managing automation, backups, disaster recovery, monitoring, and 24/7 production support.

Qualifications
- 10+ years designing, implementing, and managing highly available system architectures
- 7+ years administering and troubleshooting Linux and Windows systems
- 5+ years of containerization experience
- 5+ years of Kubernetes experience
- 3+ years of database administration experience
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
- Experience automating large-scale infrastructure provisioning, software deployment, and configuration management
- Experience supporting on-call shifts for mission-critical systems
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Ruby, Python, or similar languages preferred
- Understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices preferred
- Experience with CI/CD, monitoring, observability, metrics, visualization, or centralized logging tools preferred
Responsibilities
- Deploy and operate cloud infrastructure and services on Google Cloud Platform
- Develop, maintain, and monitor production infrastructure
- Build secure, scalable, automated, and well-documented systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy and support customer-facing web applications
- Perform database installations, upgrades, migrations, testing, and troubleshooting
- Maintain backups, restoration processes, and data recovery plans
- Maintain business continuity and disaster recovery infrastructure
- Coordinate disaster recovery drills and tabletop exercises
- Improve infrastructure and application performance monitoring and alerting
- Provide platform support through a 24x7 on-call rotation
